Patient Testimonials

Ms. Margaret Hensley:
I have been so pleased with my experience in dealing with your company and I am very satisfied with your product. My daughter wears contact lenses and always had problems. After 4 years of searching we discovered the PuriLens System. It is the best product that she has ever used!!! Keep up the Great Work!!!

Ms. Cheryl Spell:
I just purchased a PuriLens cleaning system AND I LOVE IT!!! Until I found PuriLens I wasn't able to wear my contacts all day. I had to take them out at lunch to rewet them and removed them when I got home from work. Now, I put my contact lenses in at 6am and keep them in until bedtime. No dry eye. No cleaning in between. No tearing lenses. I am so happy with the PuriLens cleaning system that I just bought one for my sister.

Mr. Robert M. McAdam:
I have been using the PuriLens System consistently for only one week and have noticed the stark changes in how my lenses feel and function. It is a big improvement over my prior cleaning habits, which essentially were only implemented when I felt like my contacts needed maintenance. This system has lessened the burden of my laziness considerably. Thanks!

Eye Care Professional Testimonials

Leading optometrists involved in the clinical trials to test the new PuriLens® System gathered for a roundtable discussion at the recent American Academy of Optometry meeting to share the outcomes of their research. The roundtable proceedings were published in the February 2000 issue of Review of Optometry. Overall, the experts agreed that PuriLens cleaned lenses better than a leading multipurpose solution without heat, chemicals or daily digital rubbing. They stated that the PuriLens System appears to be a more convenient and less time-consuming alternative to traditional cleaning methods, which should help encourage patient compliance. Following are excerpts from the proceedings:

"I'm so excited about PuriLens, not only because it's easy to use, but also because it effectively kills organisms without the use of chemicals. Patients don't have to digitally clean the lenses and it eliminates case contamination. It's all of these factors added together that make this system so superior." "PuriLens patients [in studies] were happy and their lenses were clean and comfortable. . . Patients also emphasized how easy the system was to use."
Dr. Eric White, O.D. Former AOA Young O.D. of the Year in private practice. Participated in over 100 contact lens clinical trials.

"At least 80% of the patients who completed the PuriLens clinical trial would have liked to keep the PuriLens System. My guess is that the percentage is a little higher than that. But that's a pretty good percentage considering these were individuals who had worn lenses before, had been on other systems and felt that PuriLens was a definite improvement." "PuriLens patients reported their lenses as being very comfortable or comfortable about 95 percent of the time and the lens surfaces - as viewed under the slit lamp - looked very clean or showed only very slight deposits about 95% of the time."
Dr. John L. Schachet, O.D., F.I.O.S. Past-president of Colorado's Optometric Association. Contributing editor for "Review of Optometry" magazine.

"I think that PuriLens will be the most convenient and certainly the most effective way to clean and disinfect contact lenses." "PuriLens has done a good job of packaging the system. It's small. It can travel. It's very convenient to use." "Much greater ease of use and much lower cost to the patient [than hydrogen-peroxide]. It's a win-win situation . . . I'm excited about using PuriLens as front line rather than a problem-solving system."
Dr. Walter Choate, O.D., F.A.A.O FDA Investigator, Adjunct professor Alabama at Birmingham College of Optometry.

"The great thing about PuriLens is that it's a cleaning system that will be right in their house. It's a constant reminder-patients don't have the risk of forgetting what was prescribed because they threw away the package."
Dr. Frank D. Fontana, O.D., F.A.A.O Diplomat of the American Academy of Optometry, Consulting editor for "Review of Optometry" magazine, Adjunct instructor at Washington University's School of Medicine, Adjunct assistant professor at the University of Missouri, School of Optometry.
